No, I am saying that religion should not be taught in school as a science. That should be for the parents to teach--if they so choose--or the child's own decision. But until there is irrefutable proof regarding intelligent design and the /existance/ of the intelligent creator, it should not be taught in anything but a mythology class. I support the idea that evolution be called a theory and taught as such until such time as there irrefutable proof. I do not support religion in science until such time as there is irrefutable proof.

So you are saying that evolution is wrong and that it shouldn't be taught? Scientists have countless evidence that evolution is a fact, and it is on the verge of leaving the realm of theories and becoming what is the norm. Before Christianity, there were the Roman religions, the Norse religions, even Buddhism, which has survived to this day. Did you know that even Buddhism itself acknowledges evolution before Darwin?

For those of you who insist on there being a god, couldn't god have created the earth, then let things be? Maybe god created evolution? Why does god HAVE to create humans?

It's scary how such unsupported theories can be regarded as fact in so many schools and taught to impressionable children /as/ fact; making so that the truly evidentially supported may not be acknowledged by the students.
